Are there any fees to use Reserve with Google with Obee?

There are no fees. Using Reserve with Google with Obee is completely free.
Can I collect card details or charge deposits and prepayments with Reserve with Google?
No, you will not be able to collect card details or charge deposits and prepayments for bookings made from Google. If payments features are enabled in your Obee account, you can still use Reserve with Google, however these features won’t be supported in the bookings you receive from Google.
Will guests be able to cancel or edit a booking made using Reserve with Google?
Yes, for bookings made through Google, the guest will be able to cancel or edit their booking through Google too. Google does not allow this functionality to be disabled.
Will my online cut-off settings work with Reserve with Google?
Your online cut-off settings will apply when guests attempt to make or cancel a booking through Google. However, guests will be able to edit an existing booking using Reserve with Google at any time as Google does not support cut-offs for booking changes.
Will my online booking mode work with Reserve with Google?
No, your chosen online booking mode will not be followed. Guests can always view your booking availability for the next 30 days.
Will my terms and conditions work with Reserve with Google?
Obee supports terms and conditions that are specific to areas, days, and times, but Reserve with Google does not. This means your regular terms and conditions cannot be displayed.
However, you can still display terms to guests who book through Google. These terms will always be shown in the Reserve with Google booking flow. Set up terms for Reserve with Google →
Does Google send its own emails to guests who use Reserve with Google?
Yes, Google sends confirmation, reminder, cancellation and follow up emails for bookings made using Reserve with Google. Google also sends a modification email when guests edit their booking online using Reserve with Google.
Google does not allow these emails to be customised or disabled.
Do guests who book using Reserve with Google receive my regular email and SMS guest communication?
No, guests do not automatically receive these to ensure they are not shown information that conflicts with the information shown in the emails Google sends. However, you can send your regular guest communication for a specific booking by editing the booking directly in your Obee account.
Will Options and custom fields work with Reserve with Google?
Google doesn't support Options or custom fields so guests will not be shown these when they book using Reserve with Google.
Can guests leave a comment when they book using Reserve with Google?
Yes, when booking from Google, guests can complete the optional “special request” box. The information guests enter here will be recorded as the customer comment for the booking.
Will my minimum and maximum party size settings work with Reserve with Google?
Your minimum and maximum party sizes for each area will work if they are 10 or below. Guests cannot search for a party size larger than 10 using Reserve with Google. This is a limitation set by Google.
Will guests be able to specify the number of adults and children attending when they book using Reserve with Google?
No, Google doesn't support this. Guests will only be able to select the total party size for their booking.
Can guests choose an area when making a booking using Reserve with Google?
Yes, the areas and joined areas that are visible on your booking widget will also be visible in the Reserve with Google booking flow.
