How to edit vouchers

Obee allows you to edit voucher information for vouchers that have been purchased online, or that have been manually created in Obee. The following guide will walk you through how to edit information for existing vouchers.

Note: editing vouchers does not automatically resend them to the purchaser or recipient. To send an edited voucher, refer to this guide →

First, navigate to Vouchers:

  1. Select More from the main menu
  2. Select Vouchers from the More dropdown menu

Quick edits:

Quickly change the status of a voucher, by finding the voucher on the Vouchers page and selecting an option from the corresponding dropdown menu in the Status column.

Quickly mark or unmark a voucher as 'redeemed', by finding the voucher on the Vouchers page, and the corresponding checkbox in the Redeemed? column. To mark the voucher as redeemed, tick the checkbox. To unmark the voucher as redeemed, untick the checkbox.

When you mark or unmark a voucher as redeemed, you may want to log your name. If the Taken By dropdown is shown above the checkbox, you can select your name from it. If the Staff text field is shown above the checkbox, you can enter your name in the field.

For comprehensive editing:

  1. On the Vouchers page, select + more on the far right of the voucher you would like to edit
  2. Select the edit button in the top right of the Details section that appears (pictured below)

  3. To edit the purchaser, recipient, message, who the voucher is from, or notes, use the corresponding text fields to enter the new information. To edit the reference, amount or fee, click or tap the information in the corresponding column to reveal the editable text field, then enter the new information. To edit the expiry date, use the dropdown menus or the calendar icon in the Expiry column. To edit who the voucher is emailed to, or the payment type, select an option from the dropdown menus in the Details section.

  4. Select the save changes button in the top right of the Details section if you're happy with the changes, or the cancel button to discard the changes.
